Re: AstroImager 3.0 (231)

Hi Carlos, I asked ZWO and the recommendation is to reduce USB bandwidth. What settings do you use on the cameras? Peter Good night, Peter. I use the default value for bandwidth, 80. I've tried to change it from advanced properties, but when I change the value, the number I enter is in red instead ...

Re: INDIGO AstroImager & AstroDSLR 3.0 under development...

I usually use a diagonal when I do astrophotography. This causes that when I see the test images on the main screen, I see them inverted. There are times when I compare the image I've just taken with someone from another person (from astrobin or other websites) and, as I've reversed mine, it's diffi...

Re: AstroImager 3.0 (231)

Two more crashes two nights ago... See attached item. Curiously, I didn't have any lags like other times when I took endless shots to focus. I begin to suspect that it has something to do with the ASI 120 being connected to the ASI 1600's own hub or directly connected to a USB port on the computer.....

Re: AstroImager 3.0 (231)

3.0 (270)

I've been playing with the bandwidth and there's been no way. I still have lag of several seconds between taking an image and being able to start taking the next one.
Besides, last night I had two more crashes...
See attachments.

Re: FCUSB

Excuse my bad English.
What I really meant was whether the autofocus routine also supports DC motors or only with stepper motor focussing.
Thanks in advance...

FCUSB

Hi, everybody. I know -thanks for that- that AI has FCUSB indi support. I use it and it works fine. My question is: DC focus motors don't provide absolute positioning repeatability like a stepper motor does, but any programs have the possibility for autofocusing with FCUSB and obtained more than dec...

Re: AstroImager 3.0 (231)

It was very difficult to process, as I had to use PC software for this. Both free For planetary (and DSO too) http://i66.tinypic.com/2rerwgk.png and for stacking DSO -> Deep Sky Stacker (DSS) http://i63.tinypic.com/eamky9.png ;) Regards... PD. Of course, NO windows in my MAC...
