Hello Andrew, this is known issue with HDIAPI. It is fixed in INDIGO, but not yet in ASI EFW SDK. Bug is reported to ZWO and we're waiting for fixed version.

Thank you, Peter

Peter,

I've been trying to get my focuser to talk to AstroImager 3.0. I'm using the Rigel Nstep driver (using the Indi server). It is recognized by AstroImager (it appears on the focuser dropdown, but does not select). I think the port is not correct.

Can you give me advice on how to determine the right port?

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, try to list all "/dev/cu.*" with and without device connected. Peter

Hi Peter,

I have an edgehd 11 with starizona feather touch focuser. It is driven with starizona wireless micro touch autofocuser. Any ideas on what values to use as a starting point for step, backlash, initial step and final step?

Thanks,
Stan

Hi Stan,

to be honest, I have no idea, you have to experiment a little bit. For step use something convenient for manual focusing, for backlash start with 0 and increase it until you will notice some hysteresis while moving in and out. For initial step use value large enough to make significant move and for final step value small enough to make nearly unmeasurable move.

I just tried this version tonight, (first clear night in 3 weeks), and it would not show the ZWO EFW in the dropdown list for filter wheels. I checked and the drivers were loaded. The previous version of AstroImager worked, but of course crashed.
