AstroTelescope: Could it be that AstroTelescope will show the lines of the celestial Ecuador and the meridian?
Thanks in advance...

Well, meridian looks quite easy, it is just the line connection north and south (white and red triangle on map), I'll just change the colour. But for celestial equator I have to study the some theory first... :)

Hello again... Tested last night new beta version of Astropack software...
Idea: you have a manual control in AstroTelescope but... Would it be possible to add it in AstroDslr and AstroImage? That way if you are in preview mode (or focus mode), you can slew the telescope to place the target in the middle of the preview window from the computer...
Thanks for you attention.

BTW (I can't post a reply in Announcements subforum), in the new beta version of AstroImager, last night I tried imaging with my ZWO ASI 224 but I couldn't do it from the sequencer... AI crashes all the times... I could do it from the option on the left hand side, under camera (and filter wheel) options. From there it works fine, but if I tried it from sequencer mode, AI crashes when I push Execute button...
I don't know how Apple works with the developers... When AI crashes, the OS generates a report, and it is sendt to Apple but I dont't know if Apple sends that report to developers...

Best regards,
Carlos.

Hi Carlos,

manual telescope control from AstroImager or AstroDSLR is too complicated to add it to this version, but I'll consider it in next one. It is a good idea.

And thank you for your report about sequencer, I'll check it.

Peter

Idea: I have two cooled cameras (ASI 224 and ASI 1600MC). In AI I can select a temperature, let's say -20ª but I don't can choose the amount of time (five minutes, ten minutes) for the camera arrives to this temperature. Nor is there a warm up option... I think it could be good to prevent the thermal stress in the sensor...
Thanks for your attention...
Carlos.

Hi Carlos, as far as I know it is not possible to control it from the software, you can select just target temperature, the rest is controlled by firmware. You can also select "Off" in temperature combo = warm up. Peter
