Re: Primalucelabs Senso 2 focuser

I like the Pegasus but a friend wasn't thrilled with it - mainly because of our cold climate - we are below freezing for a few months at least. I'll checkout the one you mention. Thanks!

Thanks Peter, that's a shame. Maybe someone can recommend a focuser that is supported by AI?

Primalucelabs Senso 2 focuser

The Senso 2 has been recommended to me instead of the Pegasus but I didn't find a driver for this type of focuser. Is it supported by AI? Will it be? Thanks

Re: dithering and AT

The second problem is that dithering frequently just doesn't work. Without changing any settings, it seems to do as it pleases. If works, it keeps working all night. If it doesn't, the same... For V3, dithering was fixed as of v3.15 - an initialization bug - but this is not what is in the App Store...

Re: Big Sur and CP210x based adapters

I think the warning is true for all USB2Serial converters. I have a Trendnet and I get the same warning.

But I don't connect directly to my Mac, I use IndigoSky I'm counting on it to keep things compatible.

Re: What is the best solution for stop power usb issue

I doubt your hub is the problem. You have devices that use USB2Serial conversion and these devices all have the same device name and the USB protocol cannot distinguish between them, so they are not plug and play. You have to always plug the device into the same USB port that you used to configure i...

Re: Complete Beginner: Starting from scratch

Hi @osogordo, congratulations on your new endeavour! You seem to be taking the right steps but I would say that planetary imaging is probably not the best first step as they are very small, although you have a good scope for that. But try imaging the craters of the moon first. Once everything is goo...

Re: INDIGO to GO is on the App Store

Yes please, I'm using v3 because v4 is just beta. Specifically I'm using the latest v3.15.545

PS: I'll probably go over to v4 when its released on apple apps store. If its soon, then maybe its not worth supporting v3.

I click servers and it found AT, AI and AG that I had running on my Mac with IndigoServer but there is no status, no help, no controls. What to do?

Re: Live view in AstroImager

Thanks Peter, I'll give it a try. Just hoping to find a better way to focus. Works well with DSLRs - basically focused when the stars show up in live view.
