Re: What is the best solution for stop power usb issue

Hi Benjamin, Fellow user here. It all comes down to the quality of the hub, the power supply and the cables. In my early years of astrography i used to have similar problems to the ones you describe. I used old USB cables i had lying around and some Chinese power fed hub. A couple of years ago i dis...

Re: Complete Beginner: Starting from scratch

Hi Oso, Fellow user here. I started 6 years ago at the same level you are now. Learned a lot and in the end it will all work out for you as well. But it takes time, effort, patience and endurance :-) But you've come a long way already since the start. Regarding the two hurdles you describe; 1) Offse...

Re: INDIGO to GO for Mac & remote monitoring

Hi Aaron, Correction on the previous message; when i scrolled a bit further down in the ICP, i noticed that what i was looking at was the "Image Data" and not the "Preview Image Data"; which appears to be empty when using the Canon. So, the issue appears to be in the Imager Agent and not in Indigo-t...

Re: INDIGO to GO for Mac & remote monitoring

Hi Aaron, Gave the Mac OS app a go; it al works fine. Ran the iPhone remotely over 4G, fine as well. Great, and elegant server discovery via Apple! Only thing i noticed in the Mac OS app is that is does not display previews from my Canon camera, when running a sequence in AD. Strangly enough, when i...

Re: INDIGO to GO is on the App Store

Hi Aaron, I have used port forwarding on the ADSL router on occasion in the past, e.g. to access a NAS or security camera's. It is fairly simple to do. But it does always make me bit nervous, so i typically remove the NAT settings as soon as i don't need them anymore. Regarding security in Indigo; i...

Re: INDIGO to GO is on the App Store

Hi Aaron, Ran the 1.1 version from Testflight. Seems to be running fine! No crashes, no issue, all functionality seems to work. Like the separation between preview and monitor and reconnecting after sleep appears to be swifter. Some very minor GUI remarks; - When no servers are connected, the app su...

Re: Raspberry compatibility ????

Hi Benjamin, Fellow user here; have been using Indigo sever/agent software on a raspberry in the backyard for years. Runs fine, does not strain resources, works like a charm. I'm running the v4 (beta) client apps on a Macbook that is connected to the RPi through Wifi over the homenetwork. Depending ...
