Re: Indigo scripting - example

Hi Peter,

Great, looking good! Will take a closer look this afternoon, now that we're past the X-Mass festivities :-)

But before that, a quick question; what do the "Set" and "Reset" buttons do?

Regards, johan

Indigo scripting - example

Hi all, Spend some time over the weekend figuring out how Indigo scripting works and i made a script that monitors the SQM value (with a Unihedron SQM) and date/time, and parks and powers off the setup when either the SQM value drops under a threshold or a specific moment in time has been reached. T...

Re: Plate soving recommendations

Hi, I typically use a rather short exposure length for plate solving, so the image is a bit noisy. Therefore i always use "convert to jpg" with a "scale" of 25%. This removes most of the noise (if not all) and speeds up plate solving a lot. I also set "crop" center to 80%, which cuts of 20% of the o...

Re: Scripting agent - ECMAScript on server side

Hi Peter,

Sound like a great development! I assume it will allow automating stuff outside of the clients apps and integrating non-indigo devices and programs?

A bit more explanation and some examples would be much appreciated though.

Re: What is the best solution for stop power usb issue

Hi Benjamin, Fellow user here. It all comes down to the quality of the hub, the power supply and the cables. In my early years of astrography i used to have similar problems to the ones you describe. I used old USB cables i had lying around and some Chinese power fed hub. A couple of years ago i dis...

Re: Complete Beginner: Starting from scratch

Hi Oso, Fellow user here. I started 6 years ago at the same level you are now. Learned a lot and in the end it will all work out for you as well. But it takes time, effort, patience and endurance :-) But you've come a long way already since the start. Regarding the two hurdles you describe; 1) Offse...

Re: INDIGO to GO for Mac & remote monitoring

Hi Aaron, Correction on the previous message; when i scrolled a bit further down in the ICP, i noticed that what i was looking at was the "Image Data" and not the "Preview Image Data"; which appears to be empty when using the Canon. So, the issue appears to be in the Imager Agent and not in Indigo-t...

Re: INDIGO to GO for Mac & remote monitoring

Hi Aaron, Gave the Mac OS app a go; it al works fine. Ran the iPhone remotely over 4G, fine as well. Great, and elegant server discovery via Apple! Only thing i noticed in the Mac OS app is that is does not display previews from my Canon camera, when running a sequence in AD. Strangly enough, when i...
