Re: AstroGuider 4.x
The point is, that you don't need to calculate any completion time. Instead of waiting for a specified time AstroImager now waits for the signal from AstroGuider, that the guiding is settled down. AstroGuider reports with every frame RMSE for both RA and Dec for last 5 frames and if it is similar (within 150% tolerance) to RMSE of the previous, the guiding is good again.
The field for dithering delay is thus removed from the build 542 from both AstroImager and AstroDSLR.

New dithering control between AI/AD and AG.
Dithering doesn't work with previous version of INDIGO agents, so don't try with INDIGO Sky until it will be updated too.

What do the dark vertical bands on the guider represent?

Dithering in progress. It will be also supported in webGUI.What do the dark vertical bands on the guider represent?
Re: AstroGuider 4.x
Great! I was hoping it would represent that.
I rely heavily on Guider's linear drift chart. The most important value to me is the scale of the chart in lower-right corner. Dithering, of course, messes with that value. It would be lovely to have an option (or default) that the chart scale does not adjust during dithering.

Hm, a good idea, I'll put it on TODO list. It may show just one vertical line instead of whole dithering section.

Re: AstroGuider 4.x
INDIGO drivers bugfixes for QHY, AltairAstro and ToupTek + P/I slider added instead of min pulse (which is still available in the control panel on guider agent device).
See this https://github.com/indigo-astronomy/ind ... /README.md to learn more about how guiding agent work. P/I slider controls both RA and Dec value.
