How can INDIGO interoperate with ASCOM?

INDIGO is not directly compatible with ASCOM, but there is INDIGO-ASCOM bridge under development. It is INDIGO client on one side and ASCOM driver on another. It provides access from ASCOM based application to remote INDIGO server.
