I see. I'll try again next outing. Thanks for the help!aaron wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 11:59 pm Hi iMustB --
Well, it ought to find your servers even if renamed.
When you first launched, you should have seen a prompt to allow the app connections to your local network. It needs these to find your servers. You can check in Settings > Privacy > Local Network.

Hi Aaron,
Why would the app not be able to download an image (and show M31)? Is the RPi an issue here?
Regards, Johan

Hi @aaron
I updated the app and it crashes at launch. It shows a map and then crashes. I submitted a crash report but I thought I would speed up the process by letting you know here. I have the latest iOS

Yes, I had a dumb bug that crashed if location services were off -- which is always the case on first use! The latest build on TestFlight ought to fix that. I'm very grateful to your crash report, which allowed me to find that quite quickly. (Someone else also submitted the same, thank you to that anonymous person too!)
There are still a few more bugs
- Sunrise & sunset aren't always shown correctly (time calculations are hard)
- reconnection after sleeping isn't as reliable as I'd like (networking is hard)

Hi Aaron,
Been away for a week; will take a look this evening. Should the app download the preview now? Also from an RPi?

Yes, the app should download the preview now. And it has been working well with my Raspberry Pi.
I really appreciate all the feedback from this group. It has been very good encouragement!

Hi Aaron,
Gave the app a spin (v1 build 112), and it ran flawless. All features seem to be working fine and the preview image downloads. Nice!
Great app, will be using it!
regards, Johan
